Celebrity Big Brother
There was speculation in 2018, that Daniels would be a Celebrity Big Brother (an adaptation of the Big Brother reality television series) housemate in episode 22 in the U.K. Daniels tweeted multiple times that she was not going on the show, according to speculative claims she would be paid £750,000 for just a week in the house, which would make her the highest paid housemate in the show’s history. Daniels did not despite the reports appear on the show on Launch night.
Speculations about why she did not appear on the show ranged from demands for more money, a legal affair with her husband and a desire to spend more time with her daughter. Michael Avenatti who is her attorney told to the Press Association that she was in fact ready to enter the house, but the producers tried to manipulate her into acting a certain way.
A statement from Big Brother said “Stormy Daniels was booked to appear on the show several months ago and hours before the show was due to go live, informed the production team that she no longer wished to enter the house as previously agreed. Producers discussed a variety of options with her but were unable to agree any acceptable conditions for her entering the house. Our focus is now on making a brilliant series with our fantastic celebrities.”
Daniels had offered to appear on the show during the live launch to explain her absence she said, but her offer was turned down by the producers.
On the spin-off show Big Brother’s Bit on the Side on August 17, Rylan Clark-Neal the host of the show, explained just five hours before the first live show, Daniels said she only wanted to appear on launch night and then leave. Big Brother tried to negotiate a compromise, but nothing came of it. Clark-Neal also said that money was not the issue and that there was no attempt from the producers to try to manipulate Daniels to achieve a specific outcome.
In 2010, Dianels her fans attempted to recruit her to run against Republican Senator David Vitter in Louisiana. The recruitment process was centered around the website DraftStormy.com. Daniels formed an exploratory committee on May 21, 2009, which was initially inspired by revelations about “Vitter’s connections to a prostitution ring”. The car of her campaign manager was blown up in August 2009, no one was in the car during the explosion.
Daniels finally declared herself a Republican candidate in April 2010. Het inspiration on the decision was because the Republican National Committee (RNC) had paid the expenses for a fundraiser at a “Lesbian bondage themed nightclub” in Los Angeles, stating that the revelations “finally tipped the scales”. She sais the RNC represents her libertarian values best because of the RNC’s use of the party funds for sex, which is what convinced her to become a Republican candidate. Daniels said she has been a registered Democrat throughout her life, “But now I cannot help but recognize that over time my libertarian values regarding both money and sex and the legal use of one for the other is now best espoused by the Republican Party.”
To focuson the economy she made several listening tours around Louisiana, as well as child protection and women in business and stated if elected, she would most likely retire from the adult industry. However on April 15, 2010, she announced that she would not be running for Senate, she said she could not afford to run for a Senate seat and that the media never took her candidacy seriously.

Trump affair allegations
Shortly before the presidential election in October 2016, Trump’s personal lawyer Michael Cohen paid Daniels $130,000 bribe to deny that she had an affair with Trump a decade earlier in 2006. Trump and his spokesperson’s have denied the allegations and accused Daniels of lying. Cohen on behalf of his client, denied the existence of an affair between Daniels and Trump, but he later stated “In a private transaction in 2016, I used my own personal funds to facilitate a payment of $130,000 to Ms. Stephanie Clifford.”
Daniels filed a lawsuit against Trump on March 6, 2018. She said that Trump had never personally signed the non-disclosure agreement that she had signed to the alleged affair and was therefore invalid. The suit also alleges that Trump’s attorney had been trying to intimidate Daniels and “scare her into not talking”. Cohen initiated an ex parte (Ex parte is a legal term defined as one of the involved parties are not present or not represented) arbitration process a day later, which resulted in an order that barred Daniels from disclosing “confidential information” related to the non-disclosure agreement. The order itself was supposed to remain confidential and was called bogus by Daniels lawyers.
In an interview with 60 minutes on March 25, 2018, Daniels said that she and Trump had sex once, and that alter in front of her daughter she had been threatened and felt pressured to sign a non-disclosure agreement later.
Later FBI agents raided Cohen’s office on April 9, 2018, and seized e-mails, business records and tax documents relating to several matters, including the payments to Daniels.
Daniels took legal steps against Trump on April 30, 2018 on libel (Defamation, calumny, vilification, or traducement is the communication of a false statement that harms the reputation of, depending on the law of the country, an individual, business, product, group, government, religion, or nation.) charges because he called her statements “fraud”. It related to Trump’s Twitter statements saying that “Daniels had invented the story of the man who threatened her after she decided to tell journalists about their affair”. The suit was dismissed on First Amendment grounds.
Cohen reached a plea deal with prosecutors in August 2018, saying that he paid off Daniels “at the direction of the candidate” and “for the principal purpose of influencing the elections”. Cohen offered in September 2018 to make the non-disclosure agreement invalid if Daniels would refund the $130,000 bribe that Cohen’s company paid her. Trump’s lawyers have declared that Trump will neither enforce the non-disclosure agreement nor contest Daniels claim that it is invalid.
Columbus, Ohio arrets
Daniels was arrested in Columbus, Ohio on July 12, 2018, by undercover vice cops in a sting operation. Daniels got accused by the authorities of “fondling” patrons and police officers in violation of Ohio strip club law. While Daniels got booked into county jail, two other female adult entertainers were also arrested at the club for the same allegations. They were given summonses to appear in court and unlike Daniels there were no mugshots taken of them. Columbus defense lawyer Chase mallory got retained by Daniels, he worked with prosecutors to dismiss the charges in less then 12 hours later. He said “that the law did not apply to out of town performers”.
Michael Avenatti who is Daniels personal attorney, vowed to sue the local police on ground that the arrest had a political motive. Later was revealed that the lead detective of the vice squad who was in charge of the arrest was a Trump supporter. E-mails showed who were belonging to another vice squad detective who made the arrest reportedly that days before Daniels arrived in Columbus, that the detective already obtained pictures and videos of Daniels and the location of her planned performance.
